If you can roll a decent joint, cabbages and potato dumplings (pierogi) won't be a stretch. So, join us for a party variation 150 years in the making. Simple peasant folklore, food and global cross-pollination with cannabis, alcohol or tobacco enjoyed much as it might be at some family parties.
Ever notice how the smell, sight, or taste of a certain food brings on a sense of nostalgia? Taking you back to a fond place and time with family, friends, and memories over a heart-warming meal, a long smoke or fine glass. Here we turn 150 years of history into 150 minutes of delicious highly-friendly fun.
We recreate my childhood celebratory feast using traditional methods and the farm-to-table approach, geared to take hours instead of a few days.
Starting with ingredients we gather from the garden (and pantry we work our way towards the kitchen. With only a little effort we'll be enjoying pierogi. Potato dumplings, alongside stuffed cabbages or peppers, latkes and more classics during our full dining experience.
All the preparatory work is done for you when you arrive, mise-en-place. You choose the seasonings and fresh herbs, tasting each dish through its glorious trajectory. Et voilà, 150 years of living memory digested into 150 minutes of interactive fun, food, and peasant frolic.
