This is a 50+ event that will educate our guests on safely consuming cannabis. With educational information on different strains and the benefits that each one has. We will be learning about the different methods in which to consume cannabis and enjoying refreshments made by Michele Parrotta. Join us as we enjoy an afternoon in a quiet outdoor atmosphere, educate yourself as you glance over to the Niagara River. We will have plenty of items for sale, if you choose to discuss options with Michele. She will point you in the right direction on which items will be best for you.

Our special guest Michele Parrotta, a cannabis user for 42 years. Fervent advocate for bridging the generations through Cannabis, and also bridging the information gap in Cannabis, Michele Parrotta is the CEO and Founder of Mimi Cannabis, Founding Member of The People’s Alliance of Cannabis in Canada PACC. On her website www.mimicannabis.com, she offers information, medical referrals and merchandise for the mature or new Cannabis user. It is a safe place for people over 50 who have questions about Cannabis, Cannabis products, and what to expect. Mimi is also a trusted resource for all people who have questions about Cannabis, or Cannabis products. Questions that Cannabis regulations have been shushed in our retail space from answering. Mimi has had a long and successful career, particularly in the hospitality Industry, where she learned best practices of business and operations. She graduated from St. Lawrence College in 1983 in Hospitality Management and graduated from Ryerson University in 1995 from The Human Resources Management program. She spent much of her career focusing on helping the hospitality, and the people within it thrive as an industry. At the age of 50 she moved on to her true passion of Cannabis. Prior to going full time with Mimi Cannabis, she spent 5 years as a Clinic Director in Ontario Cannabis Clinics. Living with various illnesses and obstacles, Mimi is an advocate for plant medicine, but is not pharma-free herself. Her audience is the 50 plus individual who uses Cannabis along side of prescriptions, according to Mimi the average person over 55 is taking 5 or more medications. Her goal is not to completely eradicate the use of pharmaceuticals completely, but to explore how Cannabis can be a support in lots of different health approaches. Born and raised in Kingston, Ontario, Mimi currently resides in Hamilton with her husband Carmelo and daughter Isabella.

Cancellation Policy

Outside of 14 days from the event date, Guests receive a 50% refund. After this time, the full cost of the booking applies.
