HOUSE RULES
No loud outdoor noise at any time, keep your voices down outside, I have sensitive neighbors and this is a very quiet and private residential neighborhood. Guests are not allowed to set up their own speakers for music outside, the house comes with speakers that are already set up for your convenience. NO MICROPHONES OR SUBWOOFERS ALLOWED outside. Parking…DO NOT BLOCK THE DRIVEWAY. All cars must be able to get in and out of the driveway at all times BY LAW. Gate instructions…The phone to operate the gate is located on the kitchen counter as well as upstairs next to the bed. A double ring means someone is at the gate. Press talk to communicate, ask who it is and then press 9 to open the gate. Press end to hang up. This phone only reaches to the hallway or the bar. It does not reach to the pool or white marble floor room. Rules…Do not move the plants. If a plant is found pushed into a wall or with broken leaves you will be charged. No screaming or loud noise in the driveway or backyard. Please respect the neighborhood. DONT TOUCH ANY LIGHTBULBS WITHOUT OWNER PERMISSION Don’t drag anything on the floors including furniture, chairs, plants etc. Please pick furniture up and set back down gently in desired location. If dragged, you may scratch the floor and be charged for repair. DO NOT PUT MY FURNITURE OUTSIDE! Don’t put any holes in the walls or tape anything to the walls without permission. DO NOT use regular tape. Painters blue tape only. NO TAPE ON WOOD SURFACES-NO EXCEPTIONS! Don’t touch the walls-if you mark a wall, clean it off-we have magic erasers Don’t leave any trash or cigarette butts around the house or property-USE THE ASHTRAYS please Don’t put anything in the toilet except toilet paper-NO TAMPONS please. If something spills, wipe it up completely. Alcohol and soda spills on floors can be permanent if not cleaned up quickly and will be expensive to clean. No animals on the property of any sort No cigarette or cigar smoking in the house Don’t turn the heat above 75 degrees, or the AC below 70 degrees. Keep the fan on Auto. Doors must be closed when unit is running or there is $50 charge per occurrence. Never stand on or apply weight to any marble or granite surfaces except flooringIf you break, tear, rip, stain, crack or mess up anything in the house-you bought it No illegal drug use or underage drinking There is an ice machine in the bar if you need ice, be very careful with it and ask for instruction Internet The network is Winnetka and there is no password. Some bedrooms have hardwire connections in the wall. KITCHEN…Silverware is in the drawer to the right of the sink in front of the window. Cups are in cabinet to the right of the window. Extra pots/pans in drawers across from stove. Full cooking set is on display on the stove, do not use metal utensils in the pots and pans or you will scratch the non stick surface. Seasonings and coffee maker are next to the fridge Stove… Dishwashers…Dishwashing soap packets are under that sink. DO NOT use regular soap. Pool table…Please do not remove the cover unless you are going to play pool. All the balls are under the cover, sticks on the wall mount. Once finished playing ,please put the cover back. Do not set anything on the pool table, especially drinks, regardless of whether the cover is on or off please. $550 fine for damaged felt. Pool and Jacuzzi instructions… Stereo To control the stereo, please connect to the “Winnetka” Wifi, then download the app on your phone titled “Sonos”. Follow steps in the sonos app to connect. There are 4 zones, 1st floor, upstairs, outside and basement that can be selected independently. All music is controlled by the Sonos app, if you have your own spotify or other music account, you can select music from that app in sonos. Piano…The piano plays itself! Go to the ipad on the wall, enter 111111 to unlock it, click the music/itunes app and select anyone of the 4000 songs available for the piano to play! Do not touch keys or set anything on the piano! The piano is vintage, BE GENTLE! Pinball machines…The yare vintage and break very easily-PLEASE BE GENTLE. To turn on, flip the small switch underneaththe front/right of the machines, then push the button on the front face tolight up the game. Please flip powerswitch underneath machines to off when finished. Enjoy! PingPong Table…Pleaseput it back where you found it after your done. If the wheels are locked, unlock them before trying to roll it. If you break or damage a wheel, you will becharged. FAKEGRASS RULES/ PUTTING GREEN -PUTTING ONLY on puttinggreen. Otherwise, Keep Off.-No Smoking, Eating or Drinking. No Cigarette butts or trash.-No High Heel Shoes, or hardbottom shoes.-Do NOT set Anything on theputting green -Don't pound any stakes into the fake grass-Do Not put water on fake grass/putting green. If its raining or the area is wet, STAY OFF -No Oil or ArtificialTanner/Sunscreen near grass DAYBED/ CHAISE LOUNGE RULES-Do Not Move Daybeds or Chaise Lounges Please-No Eating or Smoking on beds-No High Heel Shoes-No Oil or Artificial Tanner/Sunscreen on beds orchaise lounges. Stains may be permanent Whenyou’re finished…Close all doors and windows. Turn off all lights, heat or AC, and appliances before leaving. Text me if the pool is still running. $50 charge if you leave the ac, pool, or heat running when you check out assuming nobody was there to meet you at checkout. THANK YOU!
